Accessibility
Everyone is warmly welcomed to High Beeches but visitors with mobility issues should be aware that they may find some of the garden paths challenging.
Car Park
There are plenty of car parking spaces and there are designated spaces for Blue Badge holders adjacent to the Garden Gate Lodge
Toilets
The toilets are on the carpark, there is an accessible toilet with baby changing facilities. There are no toilets in the garden.
Wheelchairs
There are no wheelchairs available to borrow as we do not recommend the use of wheelchairs in the garden. This is due to the grass paths which are uneven, sloping and gravelled in places which make them difficult to navigate particularly after it has been raining. Mobility scooters are allowed in the garden but owners need to be aware that there is the possibility of tipping over on the uneven paths.
There are plenty of benches in the garden to stop for a rest. There is some undercover seating and plenty of outside seating at the Gate Lodge.
Picnics
There is a designated picnic area by the Gate Lodge. Please note that picnics are not permitted in the Garden. The reason for this is that an appealing place for a picnic may be home to spring bulbs and wild flowers which do not appreciate being sat on.
Dogs
Trained Assistance dogs are welcome at all times.
Dogs on short leads are welcome on Mondays.
